Ryan Hsu 徐睿紳

Ryan has over 10 years of experience in landscape design and large urban scale landscape masterplannig projects in Asia, North American and the Middle East. His recent focus on the Greater China and Southeast Asia market ensured his rich understanding of trends and best practices, and has led to his familiarity with design, construction and operation standards and processes.

​

Since 2012, as Design Director in AECOM Hong Kong’s masterplanning studio, Ryan drives design excellence and oversees 3 diversified and international teams of over 30 landscape and urban designers (6 of which were based in Taiwan). The studio promotes seamless collaboration between landscape and urban design; the projects delivered by this studio include large-scale interdisciplinary masterplans, built works in Macau, Taipei and Ningbo and competition entries.

Not only is Ryan capable of delivering conceptually rich interdisciplinary plans, he is also focused on built work and contributed to built projects such as internationally-acclaimed Taichung Greenbelt and the large-scale and complex Macau Cotai Venetian phase II project.

​

Ryan holds dual degrees in Master of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture, and has participated in jury panels for local governments as well as design reviews. The relationship built with local governments in China, design institutes, interdisciplinary partners and academic circles through demonstration of design excellence and implementation practicality directly fuel Platform Design Associates’ talent pool and collaborative partners, hence ensuring the success of projects.

在創辦原象之前，徐先生曾任AECOM有限公司 ( 原易道公司 ) 香港辦公室城市設計總監，管理一個由三十餘位國際景觀設計師、城市設計師與視覺傳達師所組成的規劃部門，在亞洲及世界各地提供設計諮詢服務；並曾任職於美國加州SWA Group。

徐睿紳先生身為原象設計創辦人與設計總監，擁有建築設計、景觀與都市設計的專業實務經驗，參與的項目遍及美國各州、韓國、中東地區、台灣以及中國各省，並透過與當地政府和設計院的緊密合作，深入耕耘寧波、廈門、深圳、廣州、成都、台北、台中等數個城市。

徐先生對於設計尺度的掌握嫻熟，對於不同尺度的景觀與都市設計案例都有深入研究。同時能夠從多方角度去整合交通、經濟、生態、以及建築等不同的專業領域，並領導設計工作，包括城市規劃與設計、景觀設計規劃、深化設計與施工圖紙設計以及建築設計。
